    Gentle Dental Partners is a growing dental company supporting 53 practices in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Maine.

     

    We are seeking a highly motivated Integration Manager to drive and support our accelerating acquisition growth strategy. This key position reports to the Director of Business Development and partners closely with various functional department heads, including Operations, HR, Finance, IT and Marketing.

     

    The Integration Manager leads all cross-functional integration efforts for newly acquired dental practices.  This position drives the planning and execution of all integration steps and the strategic growth roadmap.  This role serves as the first point of contact for new Dental Directors and Office Managers of recent acquisitions, providing leadership, guidance and support through the transition.  The Integration Manager also works closely with the Regional Managers to effectively transition acquired practices to the ongoing operational support.

    This exciting role is a critical addition to our corporate team, based just outside of Boston, in Waltham, MA.  Gentle Dental Partners has been around for over 35 years and has grown total practices under management by more than 70% in just the last two years through acquisition and de novo activity.

    Responsibilities

    • Support the Director of Business Development to execute our growth strategy
    • Coordinate cross-functional team efforts through acquisition integration
    • Leverage and update our project management software to keep integration projects on-track
    • Build strong relationships with business partners, Dental Directors and Office Managers
    • Provide operational guidance, training and support to newly acquired doctors and staff
    • Support the insurance contracting and credentialing process for new providers
    • Assist with employee onboarding / training and practice management software conversions
    • Work closely with the Regional Managers to transition practices to ongoing operational support
    • Identify growth opportunities and partner with the Regional Managers to drive change

    Qualifications

    • 5 years of experience in dental practice management preferred
    • Undergraduate degree in business or equivalent work experience
    • Strong knowledge of dental practice management software preferred
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Ability to deliver results on time and on budget
    • Ability to influence and negotiate effectively with new partners and existing internal resources
    • Willingness to travel as required and work outside of normal business hours
    • Careful attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
    • Independent self-starter with a collaborative working style, strong work ethic and flexibility to take on wide range or roles and responsibilities
